The Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise took place from 02-10 November, and we supported it with artillery from 07-10 November while our sister battery fired from the 2nd to the 7th. This involved the maneuver units in our brigade to go through a battle scenario with live ammunition, sort of like running football plays at full speed with your starting offense. It’s almost over. Yesterday I passed my last two exams of Field Artillery Basic Officer Leaders Course. I don’t graduate until the 29th, but I have met all the graduation requirements and officially consider myself BRANCH QUALIFIED!!

Here is our latest live fire Call for Fire. We actually got to use Time and VT fuzes, which makes artillery rounds explode in the air above the enemy. Basically raining pure destruction.
