Advanced Party Planning

The BOLDSTEEL advance party members plan how the battery will occupy the firing point at Peason Ridge.

Because the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) at Ft. Polk, Louisiana, is the final deployment check before we head out the door, I thought it apt to compare it to the Superbowl of our training. However, at least a million times less exciting.

I’ll save my musings for another post, but here is the sweet video I put together.

Morning Occupation

Mist rises off frosted grass during cold, early morning occupations during the battery's live fire portion of JRTC.

Stand by, FIRE!

SSG Morocco's section fires during a sweep and zone mission during the live fire on Peason Ridge. The battery fired nearly every type of mission during its JRTC rotation.
