If it looks like a duck…

I’m just sayin’, things aint addin’ up right these days…

President Obama apparently violated the law last week — one that he sponsored as a senator.

Now former Inspector General Gerald Walpin was let go by Obama last week citing a lack of confidence in the IG’s ability. Except that according to the Inspector General Reform Act of 2008, which Obama cosponsored, to fire an IG the president needs to notify Congress 30 days prior and also give a reason.

Walpin was given an ultimatum last Thursday — resign within the hour or be fired. Perhaps the White House is still operating in dog years.

Why would he do this? Well Walpin was investigating a famous friend of Obama’s, former NBA star and mayor of Sacramento Kevin Johnson. He ran a program called St. HOPE, a non-profit group that received a grant from AmeriCorps. It was found that Johnson used some of the money for his own personal use.

The ironic part? AmeriCorps was the one that asked the IG to investigate. Walpin was doing nothing more than the job he was appointed to do.

I guess the only problem was that he was appointed by George Bush.

So, how does this happen? I mean, I know Obama had such a short attention span in Illinois he was hardly there to vote in person, or anything other than “present.” But apparently he thinks because the New York Times is the head of his fan  club he can break the law and the citizens won’t know, or won’t care.

This is a prime example of Chicago politics. And because we can now see a perfect example of the past influencing Obama’s judgement and policy, what’s next? We all know what’s next; Obama will finish creating his welfare state that collapses the structure of America, as per ACORN SOP.

Can. Not. Wait. I’ll reserve my “told ya so’s” for the future.
